Percy Jackson and the Olympian: The Lightning Thief
Synopsis:
It’s the 21st century, but the gods of Mount Olympus and assorted monsters have walked out of the pages of high school student Percy Jackson’s Greek mythology texts and into his life. And they’re not happy: Zeus’ lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy is the prime suspect. Even more troubling is the sudden disappearance of Percy's mother. As Percy adapts to his newly discovered status as a demi-god (his father is Poseidon), he finds himself caught between the battling titans of Mt. Olympus. He and his friends embark on a cross-country adventure to catch the true lightning thief, save Percy’s mom, and unravel a mystery more powerful than the gods themselves.

Trailer Review:
I think this movie is going to be amazing! I've read the whole series by Rick Riordan and I loved the books and the movie looks just as good. Since there's a stereotype that a movie based on a book is never as good as a movie, most people like to assume that this one's going to be bad. But I think I'm going to watch the movie, then decide if it was good or not. I do have some problems though. Like Annabeth, for instance, is supposed to have blond hair. I know this is a small detail but it's one that irks me and so many others. Maybe you don't get the looks right, but at least get the hair right! So many people dye or even wear wigs to get the hair color of their character, so why didn't she? This part made me really mad. I have to saw that I don't really like the actress as Annabell. I guess I'll have to see the movie to really know how I feel!

The Wolfman
Sypnosis:
The story follows a man who returned to his homeland from America only to be bitten by a werewolf before himself enjoying predatory nocturnal ramblings.
Inspired by the classic Universal film that launched a legacy of horror, "The Wolfman" brings the myth of a cursed man back to its iconic origins. Oscar® winner Benicio Del Toro stars as Lawrence Talbot, a haunted nobleman lured back to his family estate after his brother vanishes. Reunited with his estranged father (Oscar® winner Anthony Hopkins), Talbot sets out to find his brother...and discovers a horrifying destiny for himself.

Lawrence Talbot's childhood ended the night his mother died. After he left the sleepy Victorian hamlet of Blackmoor, he spent decades recovering and trying to forget. But when his brother's fiancée, Gwen Conliffe (Emily Blunt), tracks him down to help find her missing love, Talbot returns home to join the search. He learns that something with brute strength and insatiable bloodlust has been killing the villagers, and that a suspicious Scotland Yard inspector named Aberline (Hugo Weaving) has come to investigate.

As he pieces together the gory puzzle, he hears of an ancient curse that turns the afflicted into werewolves when the moon is full. Now, if he has any chance at ending the slaughter and protecting the woman he has grown to love, Talbot must destroy the vicious creature in the woods surrounding Blackmoor. But as he hunts for the nightmarish beast, a simple man with a tortured past will uncover a primal side to himself...one he never imagined existed.

Trailer Review:
This is an interesting find for me . Lately I have been in love with supernatural/fantasy creatures movies and this movie looks really good. I've always had a thing for movies about people who are unnatural things (like werewolves) and they're trying to find their place in society. And of course there's romance, humor (some what), danger, and of course action.

Trailer Review:
This movie looks like a funny and sweet movie. I love the huge cast and all the people. The love stories look really sweet and very Valentiney. Or as I like to call it, lovey dovey! There is of course the occasional funny moments, awkward moments, stupid moments, and the sad moments.
