Review: Shadow of the Moon( Dark Guardian #4) by Rachel Hawthorne

Title: Shadow of the Moon( Dark Guardian #4)
Author: Rachel Hawthorne
Release Date: March 23, 2010
Publisher: HarperTeen
I can feel every Shifter’s emotions except Daniel’s—the only one whose heart I long to know.

HAYDEN was born a werewolf, a Dark Guardian. But her ability to sense the feelings of fellow werewolves has made her life unbearable. She runs away, only to be tracked by charming, mysterious Daniel, a newcomer to their pack and the one Shifter immune to her powers. As she reluctantly follows him home, Hayden finds herself falling dangerously in love…

But even as her feelings for Daniel deepen, Hayden begins to wonder if he is who he claims to be. Where did he come from and why has no one ever seen him transform? When they stumble upon the body of a Shifter, still in wolf form, her worries grow. Someone is killing her kind. Is her handsome tracker really a hunter? And is Hayden now his prey?
Yes, another one of these books! I was a bit sad when I learned that Dark of the Moon was supposed to be the last book, but I was instantly happy when I heard about this book!

These books aren’t the best written books out there. There isn’t a lot of character development and the plot lines are almost the same as all the others. So why is it that I love reading this series? That’s an easy question to answer. I love it because it’s a love story, the girl will always get the guy in the end and they will live happily ever after.

So, yes, I liked this book a lot! I couldn’t get enough of Hayden and Daniel’s love story, all the running yet the tension was there! Maybe it’s because the guy is so perfect for the girl and you’re rooting for the guy who ends up with the girl, ya know?

So if you like a book with love and werewolves, this is a book for you...if not...then this isn't for you!
