About Me:
- I am a high school student and I'm 17 years old!
- Kailia Sage is not my real name. I began this blog when I was 14 and I wanted to be safe!
- It's pronounced: Kailia (kay-leigh) and Sage (saage)
- I am a Jane Austen addict...mainly Pride & Prejudice, but I love all things Austen. And did I mention Mr. Darcy? He's like, the perfect man and so SWOON WORTHY!
- Harry Potter was my childhood and to this day, remains to be one of my favorite series EVER.
- I run a personal blog (where I also talk about my writing and life) called Musings of a Wannabe Author (go figure)!
- I love chocolate. And coffee. And Maroon 5 (Adam Levine <3).
- I'm Indian and I can speak 2 languages and I shall learn to speak French if it's the last thing I do!
- I LOVE USING CAPS.
- Blue is my favorite color. You'll see it a lot around the blog.
- I created this blog because I love to read and I have a lot of opinions on books I read that I wanted to share. And I was bored.
- My reviews aren't strictly reviews. I try to keep a conversational tone while discussing things like setting, writing, etc.
- I review middle grade and young adult books on this site.
- I also review movies to mix things up!
- I run two features on this blog: Book Tuber Thursday and Old is Gold. Check out my features page to find out more about them!
Review format:
- My review format is fairly recent. My most recent format was adapted on April 9, 2012.
- I post the title, author, series name is available, release date, publisher, source, a cover image, and the synopsis (from GoodReads or Amazon) for the novel.
- I post my review next. After my review, I comment on the cover.
- If I have reviewed previous books in the series, I link to them.
- I feature 3 other blogger reviews of that book from various bloggers.
